WeSTREET ICE CENTER, TULSA, OK

ICC was contracted by Tulsa Ice Centers, LLC to serve as Project Manager for the design, construction and FFE placement for an exciting project in Tulsa Oklahoma. ICC and Perkins and Will Architects lead the renovation of an approximate 190,000 square foot Macy’s department store at the Promenade Mall in suburban Tulsa into a twin ice hockey and skating facility.

The facility will feature two NHL size ice rinks along with ten (10 ) locker rooms, Pro Shop, ice level concessions and second level sports bar restaurant. In addition, the facility will become the official home of the Tulsa Oilers with administrative offices on the second level and modern home locker room and training facilities for the ECHL Oilers at ice level. The two ice rinks (West and East) will have a combined seating capacity of approximately 1100 with 550 fixed seats on the main ice surface (East Rink).

ICC developed a Construction Manager at Risk Request for Qualifications document, delivered the document to select general contractors, short listed responding contractors and coordinated with the ownership and Perkins and Will on the selection of the most qualified general contractor.

Thompson Construction Inc., were selected to construct the facility  with a final completion date of June, 2024.
